Concrete Sustainability Council, towards a sustainable, safe, durable and comfortable future

More about us

What we do

Companies in the ready-mixed concrete and precast concrete industry can be certified by the CSC. The certification takes place in four (4) categories: environment, economy, the social aspect of sustainability as well as management aspects. The certification covers the full supply chain - concrete manufacturers and cement and aggregates producers.

No CSC certificate can be issued if the prerequisites have not been satisfied.

  • P1 Ethical and Legal Compliance
  • P2 Human Rights
  • P3 Indigenous People Rights (aggregates and cement)
  • P4 Environmental and Social Impact (aggregates and cement)
  • P5 Traced Materials (concrete)

In addition to the prerequisites for certification, the four categories are subdivided into individual credits (version 2.0).
